I got one from the Cabelas sale last week and it's very comparable to the curados you won't be disappointed!

Which Curado are you talking about? The Lews Super Duty is a fantastic reel. The Curado G and I series aren't as good as the Super Duty in my opinion. The Curado B,D and E series were the good ones.

Realize that the reels on sale are LEFT hand models.

I got 2 from Cabelas on sale in May, total of $89 each and free shipping at that time! One 6.x and one 7.x and I really like them. The 8.x wasn't on sale at that time....

Thanks for all the replies. I had a one day Cabela's club 10% so I got the curados that are on sale for around 118 a piece. Thanks for the heads up on left hand. I had them in the cart and almost made the mistake. I have around 6 Lews and have not had any problem with any. Probably 15 or so curados from greenies to current. On the new ones I always oil bearings before first use and no problems. Thanks again. JD
