Does size matter?

Have left over roll of power pro 65 pound slick. Would you use it to spool your other reel or go buy some 30lb for casting purposes. Using 65 for frog fishing and flipping. Will 30 cast better and further than 65?

65 does not cast as far, I prefer its buoyancy on a spro type frog. I have found 30-40lbs braid get more bites punching. I learned that watching the Lane brothers in Florida.

It might, but braid is soo limp it's probably marginal. can cast a spro frog on my frog rod with 65 p.p. plenty far

30 will cast further than 65 but not that much. If your reel is full of the 65 you should be able to throw it plenty far enough. What I see a lot are guys that don't fill their reels full enough and their distance suffers greatly. This goes for any type of line.

I can cast entire spool of 65. It's the size of 17lb or close in most braids. I'm not a fan of the slick. It's abrasion resistance is terrible compared to sufix 832
