Was at Athens yesterday. Caught a couple toads of brush piles around 9 o clock. I too am still learning deep stuff as I am a shallow fisherman.. but it sure got my heart pumping getting those bites

Thanks for watching! Yea man there have been quite a few 8-9+ Swamp donkeys coming off of brush piles here these last couple of weeks. A man can really go out there and catch all the schoolers he wants. But I m not looking for that right now. I m more focused on really learning this off shore game and becoming a better angler! Only a matter of time!

Exactly! We saw schoolers like crazy and ended the day chasing them but for 3-4 hours we hit point after point and graphed brush piles just to get some time out deep.
