Re: 13 pounder Ray Roberts over weekend? Any truth to this? - 06/21/1704:16 PM
Saw a pic of another one a crappie fisherman caught while drowning a minnow over a brush pile a couple of weeks ago. Wasn't weighed as he released it but sure did look like a 10+ for sure.

Are you 55 or 56 this year?
Thanks Korean Cowboy....that would be 45 which I am fairly certain is at least 10 years younger than your old arse as yo should be getting close to 60 now.
That really is one amazing fish. one day....one day....I will get another DD.....just have to stop stop fishing Monti since there aren't any that size in there.

13lbs 3oz. We had her weighed on certified scales at the state park. It was definitely the fish of a lifetime and an unforgettable day on the water! I couldn't thank my cousin Cody enough. We picked up a good fish here and there all day and he decided to go try one more spot before heading in for the day. A buddy at work told me there was a post on the forum about it, so I figured I would come post my picture. My cousin was right though, it looks bigger with him holding it! (I'm about 6'03" 300lbs)

Dude I don't care how big you are. That's one big ol fish. Some of these people just don't understand how hard it is to catch a fish that big. Oh yeah and you got to land it also!,,

Bet you were shaking like a dog trying to [censored] a peach seed. I know I would have been after catching that monster. I'm thinking state record lol. Congrats on a great fish. I remember Bob Hood writing an article where a guy caught 2 fish from same spot 14lbs plus on Raybob.
