3.5 Lake Fork Under

Anyone have a pic of the 3.5# under from Fork this weekend?

Is it me, or does that tail look weird.

Can someone post the photo since a lot of us can't use facebook.

The game wardens were looking at the tail too, so when we got it on the live release boat I also looked at it to see if it had been cut.

Not even close. No red showing like if it had been cut recently. Nothing unusual but wasn't as clean as many bass. Could have been involved in some tail knipping months ago while spawning.

Someone had caught another football like that last weeek out there too.

I talked to the guy who caught the 3.56 at Media the week before. He said it was just barely under.

The 3.43 from Saturday at the Legend. I measured it because we were wondering too. It was 15 5/8" and very stocky.

Some years back at a Skeeter a women from College Station caught a 3.50 that only went 15 1/2".

I think that TPWD should include those fat unders in their DNA profile we are doing on the overs.

Looks like a football to me. kinda expected it to have a crooked/hump back. Just a fat football. Congrats to the fisherman.

I don't think that is the picture they had in mind. LOL

I was there when the guy weighed it in. Fish was legit and was not even close to 16" was right at 15 1/2. But built like a football. That fish is more rare than 13's on that lake!

Mine on the other hand was not! First time I've ever got a warning on the lake from a game warden. Had a fish that was under on a Pro-Rule, and was not on a check it stick.

I would have been warned by the Warden on that one too Chris!!! Just sayin - couldnt get that sucker to shrink in some Ice?

No, I know better Ken. My check it stick was not in my boat, not sure where it went. lol. Luckily, he let me go get my board out of my boat. So he only gave me a warning. But it got me DQ'd for Saturday which sucked! But I fish way to many of those to know, bump with the stick they use!!!!!!!!! Then Kurt showed me the check it stick on the dock, and I really felt stupid!

I saw the fish first hand too and was looking at it while they measured it. They think it was the same fish that was weighed in during the Media Bass tourney just the week before. Congrats to the angler great under fish and 100% legit.

I fished all 3 days of Legend and yes..everyone I talked to asked the same question..Look at the tail.. Hey..he passed a lie detector..CONGRATS to all the winners!!!!!!

I am sure the fish is legit, but just FYI, if you are a good liar then you can pass a polygraph test.

No doubt that tail is not complete
