well...make the best of it - 04/26/17 04:39 PM

I have a sneaky suspicion that my wife got me a guided trip bass fishing on our lake in Oklahoma for my birthday this weekend.
I've dropped enough hints hahaha
I'm driving up Friday and guess that i'm fishing Saturday and Sunday. 100% chance of rain Saturday. Cold and windy Sunday. Hmmmmmm. lol

I might be wrong but i'm guessing that's what she's cooked up. I like the cold and have done my fair share of ice fishing so this weekend will be interesting

Downsize baits and slow I guess?

That's pretty much how all our guide trips go.

I'd throw a 1/4oz finesse jig all day.... but that's just me. Good luck brother!!!

Whatever the guide tells you to. He should know what they are biting.

That is a great lake this time of year. You should catch some nice fish regardless of weather.

Rainy and windy on Saturday with a cold front moving in during the shad spawn

My guess would be square bills, chatterbaits, and spinnerbaits till your arm falls off on Saturday
Could get lucky with some buzzbait and other loud topwaters

Sunday with the strong cold north wind--maybe some jerkbaits if the water doesn't get too stained
Flat sided square bills, small jigs

Whatever the guide says to do
