lake fork camp sites for SOT - 04/25/17 09:23 PM

I know all rooms are booked for skeeter owner tournament. I am looking to camp out on the boat or in my truck. can y'all provide me with a list of all the sites that have bathrooms and power to charge boat?

I know I can use Google but ppl here know more than it does.

I don't know of a public ramp at Fork that has an outlet for charging battery's. I would think if you ask there would be some of the lodges and/or Marina's that would let you park next to one of the rooms and charge your battery's. Did you try Axton's for a room ? They rarely sell out and if they did they would probably let you park next to a room. Good luck.

That's kinda true. I stayed there last year when everything else was booked up. There's a man/wife that runs it now, the restaurant is closed and I think the pumps don't work either but the AC and TV works and the shower has hot water. For me it was better than sleeping in my truck and not having a way to shower. Have no knowledge of crackheads next door. Hope you find something that works for you.

Walleye Park on lake Cypress Springs isn't but about 15 min away from the east 515 ramp

Check Oak Ridge Marina. I think they bathrooms accessible from outside and probably plugs around the buildings. The food is some of the best on the lake.

We stayed at Axton's over Spring Break for 4 days. Never had any issues. Took all rod and reels inside every night and took depthfinders off just in case though.

A Little typo there, Ronnie??? Walleye is probably 35-45 minutes from the 515 East Ramp but still a great option if all others are booked up.

Check with Chaney Point RV park outside of Alba of 182. They have a small camping area that is seldom used. I am not sure about electrical.

I think Hideaway Harbor has tent sites. Someone posted last year that they did that, and had a good experience there.

Life is full of surprises, the thought of a "fouzman" on a fishing forum. I think it's probably an oxymoron. roflmao

roflmao That urban dictionary definition was created by one of our past members. Could still be a member for all I know. Maybe it's neck and chin? Or Floon? roflmao
