Is it safe to run lake lewisville now? I remember when it was low you could only run certain areas

Water levels are good, however lewisville remains one of the most dangerous lakes in the metro any given weekend due to boat traffic IMO!

If you go west of 35, hug the south shoreline.
Going north from dam, best to stay to either side. There are trees in the middle. Also a pole that can sneak up on you, but it's about 20 feet out of the water.
Lake is pretty safe to run otherwise. I do it all the time, never have hit anything.

Be more specific.
The farther west, more trees
The farther North, more trees
Stay out of the middle North, hug the shore. it is unlikely to hit something, but if you do it will be like concrete

Sounds good , I've been running straight through the main lake...wont be doing that anymore! 121 to 35 Most of the time or 121 to cottonwood area. Gator I usually go during the week unless I'm out by the dam looking for hybrids
