That frog had to be very special or a lucky one, don't think I would've had the guts to do it. Congrats to Jeff for getting it back. Almost had same thing happen on Lake Eufala ,Ala. thru frog in pads in cove and water erupted thought big bass but small gator wanted it, couldn't reel fast enuff.

I had that happen to me on the Red River with a horny toad. I threw the horny toad under a tree in the Caspiana area in pool 5 and started reeling when roughly a 3 ft gator followed it out. I reeled faster with hopes of the gator losing interest but he didnt and followed it to the boat. I decided to take a picture and laid the rod down to get my phone out when the gator jumped up on the side of the boat and grabbed the frog. Luckily I was able to grab the rod before he pulled overboard. I couldn't find my clippers to cut the line so I wrapped it around the rope cleat to try and break it off but only pulled the gator into the boat. Luckily he was pinned upside down to the top of the cap and I was able to use pliers to remove the hook from in between his teeth.

Litter was just like I would have been, scared. It wasn't that big but I'll be damned if I bring it in the boat
