Jewel Eakins Jig Jewel Eakins jig for sure. Any time the water goes below 60 degrees I'll have one on my deck. These have been around for years and they're proven winners. The head design helps the bait stand up on the bottom in a defensive craw position and bass can't stand it. Good hook too!

Thanks MZ! I don't advertise a finesse jig or sell one on my website, but I do make them and keep an inventory of them in a few colors.

+1 on Santone. And whatever you do, don't try the River Bream color.....

Fished alot of different jigs/jig heads over the last 35+ yrs. Jewel FB head is the best imo. The gama wire hook is excellent.
Inseine fishing makes a very nice finesse jig, I have caught a bunch of nice smallmouth on it.

Used Eakins jigs for years and loved them. Then one day I stumbled on the boss rock crawler jig head and bought some along with a few packs of boss replacement skirts and i put a few together. I must say this is the best finesse jig I've ever used. They have several color heads and the head is designed with a flat spot ion it so it seems not to hang up in rocks as much. And the skirt colors are endless. Best part the jig cost a little over 2.00 bucks compared to Eakins which are little over 3 bucks each. Check em out at tackle warehouse. By the way the paint jobs on the heads are tremendous they won't chip and wear off. Very durable.
