Pro & cons of mono to braid - 01/09/17 01:26 AM
What's up TFF!! I recently acquired the Lew's Mach 2 combo and was wondering what baits work well with mono to braid? I'm certain a lot of topwater baits will work, but was curious about ShakyHead and drop shot on this set up.
Thanks!

A mono to braid leader will work with just about any technique. I use a leader most often when I'm fishing a drop shot, as I have braid as my main line on my spinning reel. To answer your question completely, yes, it will work with a drop shot and shaky head.

I would very much like to hear how that combo works out for you too. I am considering picking one up myself. Thanks

BigBass 94 thanks a lot for the confirmation!! And Frank The Tank from what I've gathered so far it cast well and reels smooth!
