Bahahah! Actually a pretty easy lake to run. You can run the lower 3/4 of lake if you stay wide around points. Many coves have some trees out a ways so drop off plane before entering them and idle in. Don't run around island straight across lake from ramp. Trees and shallow water there. If heading up the lake(towards the river) take a right coming out of the ramp cove into main lake and stay 50-100 yards off the right bank and you can run up to some bouys marking a line of trees. If you stay off this right bank you can run to the bouys but that tree line starts way earlier than those bouys if you run center or left bank. After idling through tree line w/bouys you can jump back on plane for a short distance going up to river but I would not recommend that until you learn it. Just idle the upper lake past these bouys. It ain't that far. If you are going to go right towards upper lake but want to fish the far left bank and coves(Lollar Creek...) idle before getting to 1st visable trees. Tons of big ones all over. As said if you are making a left out of the ramp cove and heading down towards dam just use common sense. Wide around points, stay in center & get off plane before entering any coves. They give you a little paper map when you enter gate and it shows topo details but not "where to run". It's easier than I made it sound. Clear as mud?
