New Ultrex Question

New Ultrex Question - 11/30/16 02:53 PM

I recently ordered a new Ultrex with a 45 inch shaft. I have a Skeeter zx202, is this shaft long enough or do I need to go with a longer shaft?

Why not measure the length of the old one that you are replacing?

U can get by with a 45 but if ur fishing offshore with some waves it will come out of the water. Just make sure if u have two people in the boat both of yall are on the front deck

I have a 42 now and it comes out of the water on windy days. I was wondering if the extra 3 inches would keep it submerged when I'm fishing in the wind.

You have a 45, not a 42

Ultrex has same shaft as a Terrova. Authorized Minn Kota Service Rep can shorten the shaft to any length.

Just be aware the Ultrex mount for the 52" and 60" is longer than the 45" mount.

I bought a 60" and had it shortened to 52". (Price was much lower on the 60" at the time.)
