Where and how can I catch catfish on Lake Amistad this time of year? I have a 6yr old girl and a 7 yr old boy I would love to entertain... please help... thanks.

At the mouth of Evans Creek there is a community catfish hole. People keep it baited year round. It's not hard to find there are big jugs all over it.

Dad and I always fished fairly deep this time of year. Anchor on a ledge and bait the hell out of it and you will catch cats. 30-80 ft deep. We just tight lined stink bait about 2 turns off the bottom.
We use to call the evans community hole "Jug City". But please be aware, people do not like you to tie up to their jugs, use your own.
