Not a monster, but the healthy and fat. Best I have caught since June at Ray Roberts. Strike King Natural Shad 1.5. Beautiful morning.

My size 12 worn out slippers for comparison.

Great fish! I hope to be out there next weekend if the weather cooperates. I'll have a SK 1.5 tied on!

Compared to what I had been catching I agree Tom smile Hope that you catch some good ones!

I am heading to Lake Murvaul November 10th-13th for a fishing trip. We have a cabin rental right on the water with dock.

Nice fish! I was out there too, pulled a couple decent fish out. They were pulling hard today.

There, got it to load finally!

I give up....

Went out as well and caught several fish but none with any size to them. It was a great day to be on the lake for sure!

A buddy and I were out there yesterday, Sunday the 30th, and we fished from sunrise to sunset and only fished Wolfe Creek on the west side to the bridge on the way in and the east side on the way out. Only had luck with moving baits. Multi bladed (4) small white spinner bait and also plastic split tail shad in sexy shad color. Everything came in the coves off isolated brush or coming over or hitting stumps or lay downs in 3 to 5' of water. Partner and I had about 8 a piece with maybe 3# as the best. Was about ready leave at 6PM but came upon a school of big sandies (1 1/2 to 1 3/4#)at the east mouth, just lake side of the big flat before the trees, and stayed until almost sunset and caught about 6-7 a piece using the same lures. Good day, nice temp., light breezes, and saw a beautiful sunrise and sunset to top it all off.

Still trying to convince myself to join the McKinney Bass Club. I just never seem to have the time to invest in time away. I am still thinking about it.

You know, I thought the same thing when I first joined. I have found a way to fit it in though, its only one meeting a month the Monday before the tournament which last an hour max. I have had such a great time fishing with these guys, it has completely transformed the way I fish and my priorities. I have become completely hooked and have learned so much from them that I would highly recommend you give it a try. Its pretty laid back so if you can't make a tournament, no worries.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me.

I came to a meeting back in July or August. The atmosphere was really laid back. Everyone seemed to be genuine and I felt comfortable. just need to pull the trigger.
