What size Talon?

Looking at buying a Talon in the near future. Was planning on buying the 12' one. Curious for you guys that run them, is there any reason other than price to go with a smaller one compared to the 12'? Thanks.

you need to be able to get as deep as possible

If you're going with Talons, go with 12 foot. I don't see any reason to go shorter.

I have a single 12' talon and couldn't be happier. Yes it does swivel around in the wind but you get used to that and learn when to drop it down to position you where you want.

12 footer-only

I put 2 12 footers on my boat and really like them I put the fold down brackets on them so I can lay them down if needed.

Obviously never used Talons to rec a PP and that was not what he asked in the first place.

Exactly. I wouldn't buy Talons unless I was getting 12'ers . That's the main benefit to me of getting Talons over PP. coach
