Well, as I'm a supervisor and if one of my people said I'm too sick to work and then I see them out fishing there would def be disciplinary action coming.

Ok....

If they are allowed a certain amount of sick days, what does it matter what they do on their sick day? That just means one less day they can take off when they're actually sick. They'll pay the price eventually... And I'm a sales manager.

I don't think he would be too upset as long as I caught fish.

I had a couple of students skip school to go fishing......both of them lost their cell phones......best stay in school......

Moral of this story is don't start your story with "Called in sick to go fishing"

Iv called in maybe a few times to go fish , they have always been bad outings. It's that karma I tell you.
