My boss has a lake house at Fork and keeps getting Mud Dobbers blocking the water outlet "telltale" on his motor. Does anyone know of a commercially available screen for the telltale on an outboard?

A piece of black tape and don't forget to take it off. A lot of people don't know it, but those rubber outlets are calibrated to ensure water will fill the engine to the top by holding back pressure.

Get some XXL garbage bags and cover the motor. makes it easier to remember to take off.
