How does welsh fish in the summer? I've only fished it during winter months. Taking my brother to a different lake next week when he's out visiting from the west coast, figured I'd try that one. Thanks.

Thanks! What about the grass? Does it hold fish like winter months or is the water too hot and fish are generally deeper?

Have not been this year but have many times in the past. Hydrilla gets really thick in the summer. Have done well in past as mentioned above around intake area and it can be great around the little fresh water discharge (cooler water pumped in from Lake O Pines) if they are pumping water in. This is on the right side/west end of dam across cove from power plant intake. Also upper/north end fishing the edge of all the thick hydrilla with weightless plastics, wacky rigged Senko's, frogs... Good luck & let us know how you do.
