Have not fished it since the late 80's. Use to always launch at Lakeside Village when coming from Fort Worth. Want to make a trip. This time coming from the Hillsboro route. Just been reading about flooding and closed ramps. Just wanting some suggestions where to launch coming from Hillsboro. I remember when you looked forward to Steiner Valley flooding.

lakeside has been closed for a while. your best bet is to launch from the harbor master marina near the dam. i've heard some of the mid lake ramps have re opened but the COE website says they are still closed.

Cedron Creek and McCown Valley are both openi know for sure we used them this weekend
