I catch more fish on Hubbard but I've caught bigger fish on Lavon.

I like both lakes.

It depends on how you want to fish more than which lake to go to. They are both fishing pretty good right now.

I believe the lake record was set a few weeks ago on Lavon.

Lavon is a lot easier to avoid all the hustle and bustle in the summer time.

This time of year you can get away from the pleasure boats and catch decent fish on Lavon.

This is true, on the weekends Ray Hubbard is packed with runabouts and jet skis. I will go out there on the week days and have good, quiet trips though.

If I have my way I'll be at both lakes this week. I hear Lavon is on fire with crappie right now!

No fish left in Lavon. They all went over the dam and into Hubbard.
