any good brand of smaller tandem buzzbaits out there?

any good brand of smaller tandem buzzbaits out there? - 07/03/16 03:27 AM

I lost one a couple of days back and noticed I was getting a lot more bass on the smaller profile than the larger one, but forgot who the heck made it. It looked like the Strike King brand, with the neck kept together with a plastic sleeve. Done a lot of searching but nothing comes up.
Thanks in advance.
OM

PS I'm liking the tandems more and more, they don't turn sideways like single bladed ones, even when you burn them back.

Best one made.

I compress the u-bend and slip a small split ring over it then tie it on. Big Bass can't bend it out then; Or let the line slide up onto the blades causing a break off.

Terminators are the bomb. Love their spinnerbaits, as they don't get torn up, that metal keeping it's shape, no matter how much you bend them, is cool. Only thing, if it's does not run right you're out of luck, since that same feature stops you from adjusting them, they just don't take a new shape. That happened on one of the single blade buzzbaits, could not get it to run straight.

Don't think they make the smaller model buzzbaits, the ones about 2/3 the size of regular ones.

Anyone know of the one made a bit smaller?

Thanks Donald.
I just realized the 3/8 is a bit smaller (blade/profile wise) than the 1/2 oz, which I just got both a couple of days ago. I did not look to close, thought they were the same profile, but just went out to my car and looked closer at both.

So the 1/4 oz must have been what I had and lost, and it would probably be a bit smaller profile even than the 3/8. No wonder I thought it looked exactly like a Strike King, design wise, it WAS the Strike King. Mystery solved. I'm just an idiot.

Picasso is my favorite. They are sweet and go all the way down to 1/8 oz.

You mean three (1/4, 3/8 and 1/2?) Or two types of tandem?
The 1/4 was what I was looking for, just ordered them thru eBay dealer.
Thanks.
PS Did not know there was a 1/8, that's amazing. Your a veritable wealth of information, anyone ever tell you that?

This is what you do to find stuff like that.
- I went to Terminator Tandem Buzzbaits.
- Click on IMAGES of Terminators.
- Once you get past, going down the page of Terminators, other pictures of Double Buzzbaits are shown.
- Click on that picture and a big black box appears.
- Click on go to site and in most cases it will take you to where it can be purchased; unless it is a blog..
- You can do this on most any produce you want to search for.

Nothing to do with size or answer your question but saw an interesting idea on Honey Hole TV yesterday that I'm going to try. The BASS guys name who was Bill's guest name was Anthony ???? and he placed a large plastic craw worm on the hook of his buzz bait to help it be more buoyant so he could fish it slower and still keep it on top. He outfished Bill 3 to 1. Couldn't believe Bill didn't do the same. I've used a spinnerbait trailer before but not a large craw worm. Just a thought.
