Didn't have any replies on the rod forum so will try here. I'm trying to sell a brand new Dobyns Champion XP DC733C SH, but haven't had any offers. I never used it and was wondering if this isn't a popular model and should go swap for another one. Has anybody used this rod and have opinions? Thx.
Might try putting it on the trading post. I don't have this specific rod but I have quite a few Dobyns rods. This would be a 7'3" med. Baitcaster And would be a very nice rod for shakey heads and even drop shotting. You need to put a price tag on it. Good luck.

I am in McKinney. How much are you asking for this rod? I just bought a new Falcon Cara T7, but I would be interested in a Dobyn's.

I have a 733 and like it for lighter lures like shakeyheads, Yellow Magic, weightless plastics.... Like mentioned above everyone's favorite weight Dobyns rod seems to be the 734. I have a couple and it is the perfect "do everything" weight. I saw your for sale add and while I would never post this on your post in "Advertisements" I think you are a little high on your price. Even "new/unused" $220 is high(yes, I saw you posted "offers?"). Could be the model though :-). Respectfully, 361v.

I think I will go swap it for the 734 split handle and if I can't sell I guess I will add it to my collection.

734 is probably their most popular rod, 733 not so much...
I have a DX734 and it is my favorite, best fluke rod ever. Might have to get another one in the new XP version.

Great idea! Put a texas-rig on the 734 and you will never put it down!
