If you will remember last October TPWD did a shocking survey.. And they found over 400% above average numbers of fish..

Lot of these fish were from natural spawn.. Hope there's enough food in there to feed em!

Those fish don't look good at all. It isn't normal for a bass of any size to have a concave belly. Those fish are probably already stunted. Some kind of feeding needs to happen immediately, AND a lot of those fish need to be taken out.

Thats what I was thinking. They are so hungry they were coming to the camera like they were just hoping it was some kind of food. Normally on videos the fish don't pay much mind to a camera but those little dudes are starving.

You guys do know that this lake was down 95' just a few years ago and it just filled up a few weeks ago, right? Of course the fish aren't fat like lake Forks bass, the lake is just getting a chance to rebound.

It all comes down to forage base and how the drought affected it. Travis was down 60+ ft and it came up in a year also. The fish look amazing but the shad population never dwindled

Thank you for this reply. This is our local lake and perhaps others viewing this forum were not aware of the lakes conditions over the past 5 years.

That is an awesome video and it makes me want to play with a camera like that, proof that the reason I can't catch fish is because I'm not good.
