What lake to fish in DFW? - 06/14/16 05:29 PM

I will be in Denton on the 24th and I plan on pulling my boat for this trip. I should be there for about a week and I know nothing about these lakes in DFW. What lake would you guys recommend I fish?

If you are in Denton, you are close to Ray Roberts and wouldn't have to fight the Dallas traffic to get there. I would fish that lake alot more if it wasn't such a beating going up I35

What should I expect fishing at Ray Roberts? Do I need to be careful running the lake? I'm used to Alan Henry where you are 15 feet off the bank and sitting in 30' of water. I have fished Lewisville once during a Boat U.S. Championship like 6 years ago and we struggled badly. Other than that I have never fished an east Texas lake.
