Lake FORK SWEET SPOTS AND LURES - 06/02/16 12:43 PM
I'm looking to hit lake fork up this weekend and was wondering what the bite was like??!
I've bank fished lil mustang, big mustang and Williams before, but will be in a boat this time and wanted some tips and info about other areas to fish!!! Also wanted to know what baits and colors are hot right now, I'll be shopping at Brannan's Bass Shop Friday and wanted to make a list.
Thanks and Tight Lines!!!

A few guides post recent reports on here from time to time, if you can, use the search function for "lake fork report" I feel like i have seen a couple in the last week. Another good way to see reports is follow the guides on FB as well, i believe Jay Kendrick will post his there from time to time. Otherwise it seems like people have been catching them at all depths out there
515 bridge is a good one sometimes lol get a drop shot and go down the bridge that's how I caught some big ones

Drag a c rig and a football jig on some points. Chartreuse pepper for c rig and wat. Candy for jig.

That's great! Being that there is a huge TOURNAMENT there next weekend and you're going to be fishing in it, info is probably going to be hard to come by. Good luck with practice this weekend and in the event next w/e. Hope you win some $$$.

If you can follow the submerged timber along the channel, you can always pick a few off here and there. A Tx rigged creature bait or worm in redbug or plum is always a good choice. Black/blue and pb&j flipping jigs work well too.

I've found that I care less about not knowing any sweet spots with a belly full of pecan cobbler and ice cream.
