So what advice/strategy would you give someone looking to fish Grapevine. While it's not considered a top fishing lake my boat is within 5 minutes of the lake and it's too easy not to justify spending some time fishing this lake.

It seems many people focus on boat docks and the rip rap at the dam....what other structure exist on the lake that's worth spending time on?

Thanks in advance for any insight...

"There's no substitute for time on the water". Fish your strengths based on seasonal patterns, target fish and current lake conditions.

T rig - red shad... Main lake points and secondary... 1.5 square bills on secondary ... White spinners ...

Try working a buzz on the birm at the right entrance of silver lake marina ... Done well there

Dove cove has some
Nice coves to get off into ...
T rig if wind is down... Square bill, r trap and spinners
Have done well recently ..
