Loving Lake Fork today 5-28-16 - Toadfest!! Pic heavy

Caught ~15 slots today and had 6 in the 7-8# range, man that was fun. I fished the JC outdoors and could care less about weighing in my little unders after this day. Only had 3 in the box so just stayed and fished

Dang man! We struggled today and were lucky to get 2nd place big bass. Few of those would have been fun to mix in with the peanuts

All in a ~100 yard stretch I found a couple years ago, typical ledge type spot....Stacked in there like cord wood. I'm back in Irving now but really contemplating heading back out tomorrow....

Nice day! I was at Fork yesterday afternoon looking for sand bass with my daughter. First time I've been out since my power pack died a couple months ago. Caught one fish - 7 lb, 9 oz fattie on a jig. Never could get a sand bass to bite, but it looks like I wasn't the only one to see a chunk yesterday!

Mine was just like most of yours - fat and well-fed and a little beat up.
