Fayette Co. Advice? - 05/23/16 04:46 AM

Going out to Fayette Co for the first time Tuesday. Anyone have any advice? Ive never been to the lake and have no idea what to expect from water clarity, vegeation, structure, depth range and fishing method. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Look at the reports on here. They're chewing shallow, 2-4'. The big girls are further out in deeper water though.

If you don't catch fish on Fayette, I'd pack it up and take up golf. Look for transitions, multiple kinds of cover near multiple kinds of structure and you'll thump them. This time of year they are going to be moving towards their summer haunts. If you don't get bit up shallow drag a C-rig across a couple main lake points. There is a recent honey hole episode that'll give you a heck of a start.

Watch out for the buzzards, they eat pick ups.
