state park isn't. you can take a right about 150 feet before state park entrance. go about 2-3 miles . watch for "boat ramp road". there is a good ramp at the end of the road. largemouth bass fishing is very poor there . drought then all the rain really hurt it.

I haven't seen that the State Park is closed. When did that happen? I know folks who fished off the piers in the last week.
As for the Fishing, it has picked up some. I've been able to catch a few bass every trip for the last month.

the boat ramps are open at the state park an folks were fishing off the piers.

I was there last weekend and we fished around the boat ramps and piers, the camp grounds were.closed but the park was open
