Old reels I need to ID - 05/14/16 01:40 AM

Few quick questions!

I have two Shimano Citica 100SDV reels and I'm having troubles ID'ng the gear ratio. I also have an old, green, shimano Bantam Curado CU-200BSF that I literally know nothing about!

Any help is greatly appreciated!

The 200BSF is the 200B series reel called the old "greenie". Almost indestructible and tough as nails. The SF stands for Super Free, a bearing supported pinion gear and the line flows out VERY smoothly. NORMALLY, the Bantam refers to the 100 series reels, NOT the 200 series reels. The SF reels are highly sought after on the 2ndary market. It's gear ratio is 6.2:1 and they are VERY smooth reels for being 15 years old or so.

The Citica reels, are the 100DSV, which are the series D reel and their gear ratio is 6.2:1, as well. Hope this helps. If the 200BSF is in good working order and you want to sell it, let me know. LOL. Hope this helps. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.
