If this has been discussed before please send me in the right direction. When, how, and how deep do you fish the heavier chatterbait style baits like 3/4 and 1oz?

Heavy bait with a big swimbait trailer is killer on deep roadbeds and humps. Check out the Finch Nasty 1oz thumpers. You wont be disappointed.

How deep is up to you! But also the bigger ones present a bigger profile to the shallower fish that see "normal" chatterbaits a lot. Check out this guy- www.jigs4bass.com he has some up to 1oz but also has "bigger" blades like 1.5x the size of normal blades. They give off one heck of a "chatter". Prices are cheap too!

I have some that are 1oz and 1 1/2oz. They will rattle your arm off when you chunk them. Great ledge baits.
