Legends of Lake Fork - 05/03/16 12:35 AM

I can't find the 2016 Rules for the Legends of Lake Fork. I have already prepaid for two days and was needing to know if I do a check in before I can go to my hole or can I just head on out at 5am the morning of the tournament and listen for the start time on the radio?

Call Don or Sue Hampton.. Don is the MC for the event, he also owns The Fishermans Guide newspaper that you see in every store around the lake... The lake in not off limits for any day prior to or during, there is a time line involved in the evenings...

Also wondering about fishing hours? I assumed 6-3, first weigh-in hour 7-8, last 2-3?

Already had a trip planned to fork for that weekend so went ahead and entered.

I gets bigger every year, I can tell you this for certain. You will "Fork" out the largest entry fee of any big bass event on the lake if you fish all 3 days.. It cost us a small fortune for 2 enteries...Ouch.. I don't think we're doing it this year, the fishing has been awful of late.. They will have brochures with all the rules at the sign up location.. I got them in the mail a while back...

Let's hope the weather lets off and the fishing picks up in the next two weeks.

It may have a large entry fee but I think it is the only one that gives out four boats plus has hourly weigh-in cash. Have fished it the last five years and folks should thank me for paying their winnings. Maybe this year will be different.
