PB on Falcon 10.27

PB on Falcon 10.27 - 04/18/16 04:42 PM

Had an unbelievable trip to Falcon this past weekend with my fishing partner Eric and Guide Thomas Haralson (Tom) 956-285-1374. The trip consisted of two days our best five on Friday went 37lbs and 28lbs on Saturday. Our best was my personal best 10.27 I lost what looked to be a solid 8, had two 7's three 6's a bunch of 5's and neumerous 3's and 4's. I also had a couple of heavies that i just didn't get turned, hooked up and boated. Now the kicker part of the story is with 15 mins left I hook another that may have been a new personal best a day later. I was sure I had it, hard hook set, good pressure on the line and had it coming to the boat, then the heartbreak it just came unbuttoned. Needless to say I was sick, to get it close enough to see and have very little doubt that it was a DD did leave me feeling a little dejected. But as Tom said it happens, their not that big for no reason. To catch your personal best one day and potentially break it the next is something that I've got to believe hasn't happened often. It was a trip of a lifetime. Again, if your looking for a great guide and awesome angler to fish with you really should give Tom a shot. Here's a few pics that I just can't quit looking at.

About 10% heavier. Congratulations on a great trip. If I were headed down there and wanted a guide, Tom would be my first call, too thumb!

That was a great looking fish.. Congrats! And thanks for stopping by FLT..

The whackfest is on here at Falcon.. Even I am catching them.. Had a low twenties stringer this AM from 8:30 till 11:30.. 32 fish..

Tom IS tearing their [censored] up..

Fun fishing.. Catch all you want on rocky banks and points.. Chrome Red Eye Shad or Chatterbait.. But I am a sure a lot of other stuff is working as well..

Come get you some..

Very True statement! If your guides last name is Haralson and your on Falcon you can bet your last nickel your catching the best quality fish on the lake.

Congrats on your PB! I wish you could have caught it in February.
