I use cull tag on all my fish allot easier to wrangler a big girl out of the livewell when she is attached to a foot of cord. If you ever drop a big girl on the deck of your boat before you get her in the bag you will be able to grab her easier with the culling tag

Lol! That's great!
My big fish usually are on a jig. But I haven't caught a keeper in the last 3 tournaments so maybe I need to put the jig away!

normally the most settle soft bait possible deep or shallow, but this past week, was caught as far back as i could go in about 2ft of water and about 15ft away from bank, slow rolling a spinner in chocolate water.

My biggest kickers have come from football jigs and 10 inch PowerWorms. But, my heaviest overall bag (27lbs) came from 3.75 inch Grandebass rattlesnakes... go figure.

Without a doubt... jigs.

Won a club tournament on LBJ this past weekend. Had 14 lbs on Saturday with a 5+ and only had 1 bite on Sunday, but it was this little lady that went 7.31. Caught all fish on the same jig.
