Took My 11 year old out he catches a 7lb bass with video

Me and the 11 year old went out fishing today. Fished from 11 till 7. No bites until around 5. It was very windy and he kept getting cold but he hung in there. I'm sure it was the big red and beef jerkey. She went a little over 7lbs. It was pure greatness. When we finally got her in the boat there was about 4 feet of braided line hanging out of her. Slight pull and out comes this narly partly digested lizard. It's the red lizard in the last pic.

Lol it's a hog!

I know I was just so excited for him. You should have heard how I reacted when I caught my 11.57 with Pack. I was shaking. We got so lucky on this one that she didn't break off. I wish I didn't have to take the pole from him but she was going in the anchoring and I was afraid she would have gotten wrapped. It's still a great moment. Now both of my boys have caugh a bass over 7lbs. I think I was 30 when I caught a bass over 6lbs. Lol. Now I just need them to get a double digit. That would be sweet
