Best East TX Lakes for Offshore Structure Fishing - 03/31/16 02:34 PM
Besides your big 3 (TB,SR,Fork,) What are some of the best lakes to fish offshores ledges, humps, and points. Want to learn how to be a better structure fisherman, but the two closest lakes to me are shallow mud holes.

There are a lot of good ridges and deep points on Cedar Creek. Like all big lakes wind can make these non-fishable but Cedar creek is a good lake to learn on.

Wright-Patman is close to you and the southern shoreline near the dam has off-shore stuff. Like the others mentioned Bob Sandlin, LOP, Monticello, Cypress Springs, Ellison Creek(Lone Star), Cedar Creek, Tawakoni, Richland Chambers, Tyler.
Caddo of course is shallow and or Hosston if you have the LA license.
Good luck!
