90% of my reels are Revo's...the rest are Daiwa's...but my brother told me about a year ago that he picked up a Bass Pro Qualifer for a guest rig and was impressed and told me I had to try one...so I did, and I put it on a pistol grip rod with 14lb mono and I sling 1/4 to 3/8oz spinnerbaits and chatter baits on it and over almost a years worth of chunking-n-winding it has yet to fail, make a funny sound or skip a beat...and I use this setup a lot...for the money it is an awesome reel !...I keep hoping it fails so I can put a Revo on that rod cause I must say it is the red headed step child on the deck...LOL

Can't go wrong with either. If it were me....id be temped to get the Pro Qualifier just for the savings and additional bearings. I've had to use the Lews Laser before. It's "ok"....lacks a lot of important features that I like. So, I'd rather not spend my money on one.

I got rid of every reel that wasn't a Lews. I have an MG or two and actually prefer them to my more expensive Lews.

Either one. I love my Lew's MG tournament spool. Just bought a pro qualifier a month ago for other applications and I'm very impressed. Really can't go wrong at those prices.
love them both, cant go wrong with either one.
