Hawkins

Are there any decent places to stay close to Hawkins lake , I have a tournament on Palestine , thought I might get a room , and fish Hawkins Sunday . There are some houses on the lake for rent , but 100 a night , for a few hours of sleep , is more than I want to spend .

There are a few cabins at the RV park (903-769-4545) $35 per night + $15 refundable deposit

Mineola has a couple of decent hotels on HWY 69 south of town.
