If I wasn't so poor I would sure like to come fish this against you guys but I can't afford platinum, maybe I need to look for the sterling silver series.

Re: Platinum Team trail Ray roberts - 02/24/16 02:08 PM

Well I know of 3 teams fishing so maybe you will have 7 teams fairly good odds to win! I wish I had the funds but 4k in truck repairs plus traveling the past 2 ttt tournaments have my fishing fund about depleted. Plus I dont think I have caught 5 keepers in a day on roberts since early November so probably be better for me to stay home.

I have been on Roberts one time this year , had a total of 12lbs . I'm hoping my Indian spirit guides me , even though I'm not Indian.

Re: Platinum Team trail Ray roberts - 02/24/16 02:21 PM

You mean Indian creek spirits? I'll probably be in Indian friday, last time I was in there the water was cold and muddy and I never wet a line. It's probably still the same way now, but I noticed a few things on the martins map that I want to go check out. Stuff I have never seen anyone fish so it's probably a waste of time.

Brad I might need you to show me how to get in there I heard you know the fastest way!

What was the last number you heard Barrett? Fishing should be on next weekend with the water warming all week. Saw some 56-58 yesterday evening, never made a cast just took the kiddos on a boat ride.

Have you found an answer?

Re: Platinum Team trail Ray roberts - 02/28/16 11:52 PM

The first 3 averaged around 20 boats so I would assume around 15-20 for Ray Roberts.

Re: Platinum Team trail Ray roberts - 02/29/16 12:22 AM

I am still waiting to hear back from some people, and waiting on other people's payment. It seems like there is a lot of interest, but that doesn't seem to be translating into people actually signing up. Maybe there is only interest to talk about it. I'm not sure. If there are a lot of people interested, and those people sign up, then there will be a lot of teams. If everyone waits and then doesn't enter, then there won't be a lot of teams. If you want to fish, then head over to www.usafishingtrails.com, click Enter Online, and sign up.

A lot of nice boats out there today. Lick creek looked like Dallas rush hour today! Kind of figured folks were scoping things out for next weekend.

Re: Platinum Team trail Ray roberts - 02/29/16 01:50 AM

I would have loved to fish this event just didn't work out with the other stuff I'm fishing. Imagine there will be some big weights brought in. 42-45lbs to win I would imagine could be a lot more than that with the fish staging right now could be locked on by next weekend. Good luck to the guys fishing it.
