Cool Screen Shot!

Here is a pic of some bridge columns I took on a trip with a customer this weekend. After we got his graphs dialed in, this is what appeared. 2 giants!

Looks like Lowrance. Slade, when you work on these graphs, do you find that there is a bit of a standard setup for each unit type, or do you have to go by feel with tweaks each time.

Exactly that, by feel and tweeks. Not all graphs are created equal. Thats why there are settings. If you adjust a setting it will affect another setting. All settings need to coinside with each other to get optimal performance.

Yeah looks like Lowrance to me also. Never seen a hue effect like that on a unit.

Pretty apparent why those 2 giants are hanging out there, lots of lunch swimming around them.

Very Cool! I wish there was a way you could easily measure how big something on the screen was. Kind of like they do in an ultrasound.

A family member of mine went with Slade last year to learn to get his SI tuned in and he still brags about what a great job Slade did and how the trip was more than worth it.

Slade set my graphs up for me, I had an Elite 9 on the bow, it was awesome, until it crashed, had to do a hard reset and lost all the custom settings, damn the luck.

On trackertim pic. How is there shadows in this pic? I dont understand. Or am I missing something here

I kinda thought the same thing, but I would convince myself they were bass if I saw them On my screen.

Same thing for me. He told me to take screen shots of all the settings just in case but I never took the time.

Such a sick pic. Those big fish are longer than those pylons are wide, they gotta be 4'+ long. And I love how you can see the faint outline of the next set of pillars behind that one. Wicked shot.

Nicely detailed, and just by comparison with the columns, giant hardly describes the two fish. WTG Slade. If anyone outthere questions your Ralph's capabilities, let Slade have two hours of your time, he will erase those questions.

Those two fish are HUGE.

CHIRP enhances your sonar screen.

The shadows mean that the object in the picture has some height to it, it it a tire and not just a flat circle on the bottom of the lake.

What you see would be like if you are standing on a tall ladder looking down and on bottom there is light shining both left and right so everything that has some height to it will cast a shadow. When you see a creek dropping off on the Down Image it will begin to get dark also because it is getting deeper.

Sonar doesnt get a reading from behind objects, so you see a black shadow. You see the same on a stump or fish.

Slade tuned this old 597.....you can get a good image without spending 3k .... But he is a wizard....he's a good dude too

So what does Slade cost?
