We hit the lake yesterday to enjoy some of this nice weather and once again my wife Liz showed me up and caught several nice bass. Once she saw the new purple Spro rat she had to have one, and I guess she has much better taste in colors than I do. Judging by the fish she caught, they agree with her. She used the size 30 and mainly fished it around docks and underwater brush, see video below.

Great vid, fished with one yesterday with no luck but its a brown one with white sides, should work great next month.

man, i like to see husbands and wifes fishing together. I know most people fish to escape their wives, but I really like fishing with mine. Plus I seem to catch more when shes around... its like shes my rabbit foot.

Liz could likely give around 90% of the men on TFF, me included, a primer on how to properly set a hook, manage a large bass back to the boat. She casts well, too.
