Reliable and reasonable mechanic

Reliable and reasonable mechanic - 02/12/16 02:58 AM

Looking for someone to repair or replace a steering cable in a 95 skeeter 150zx with a 150 black max on the back

It's pulling hard to the right.

Tried adjusting the fin on the lower to no avail.

When you trim it out it gets better but it pulls even at idle...

Thoughts?

Needing a reasonable mechanic shop or individual in the tarrant co. Area... I am in Hurst... (Not a fan of fun n sun)

Thanks guys

I'd also look into converting it to hydraulic steering. There are some very reasonably priced kits available online. That's what we did on My dad's first boat years ago. When you get it done you'll wonder why you went so long without.

Patterson Marine in Haltom City 817-838-0501. Ronnie replaced the cables on a 1990 Ranger I use to own. He did good work at a reasonable price and timely manner.

Try Charlie's in Alvarado and either talk to Charlie or Keith and you will not be dis appointed. Best outboard shop I've found and cannot beat them.
