where is the best place to launch with a fairly secure parking area on the north end of fork?

The old Val's landing on 2946. Not sure what it's called now. He charges 4.00 for launch.

Which side of the lake and it is no longer Val's it now is west fork landing. East side either 515 east or 154 both are public ramps.
