COWBOY BFL - 02/09/16 08:40 PM

We have several boater openings for the BFL on Sam Rayburn this weekend. Let's get these co anglers on the water. It's going to be a beautiful weekend and the bite is on. Call 270-252-1000 to enter or come see me Friday from 4:00-600pm at Umphrey Family Pavilion to sign up.

Mark,
Do you ever see the BFL changing up the schedule ? I fished it when it was spread out, but the Rayburn Toledo schedule ?
I am assuming all it is based on entry fees. No doubt Toledo and Rayburn are great fisheries, just wanting to see a change.

Thanks for putting on a great tournament for sure

140 plus boats at Toledo. Same day as the Ram series on Rayburn. I don't think they need to change. Might be interesting to see. Good thing Ram is having some tournaments up in East Texas.

I understand the numbers deal. I was just curious to see if the idea was a topic at some point.

I get that question all the time. We've tried several different options and the Rayburn/Toledo combination works best for us. Texas could honestly have at least 3 BFL divisions within the state and probably average 80-100 boats at each of them. I know we're missing some guys that won't fish on those 2 lakes alone, but we try not to spread a division out over 300 miles.

Mark,
That's good for those the live in that area but us North Texas guys that is a haul between practice and tournament days I think maybe some needs to be spread out and get closer to the Metroplex.I miss fishing them but cost out weighs reward. Have a good year.

Wish the BFL wasn't scheduled the same day as the Bass Champs on Toledo.

Mark, If I'm reading correctly, the draw meeting is at the Paviloin Friday, and not at the Jasper Wal Mart as in the past. Might be worth a reminder. Probably one of the Wally Worlds they decided to close... See y'all Friday.

The meeting is at Umphrey Family Pavilion. We are over 140 boats now but we still have room for boaters. Come see me Friday between 4-6pm to sign up or call 270-253-1000.

I'll be there, first time as a Co! It is harder than I thought to scale back on tackle. Still working on it and I am leaving this afternoon.
