No real need to go faster than 70 mph....over that....sucks gas....IMO.
Or buy the Allison XST, their entry level boat at a very respectable price. You could put a 225 on it and run in the 80's or slow it down to an easy 70 mph and double the fuel mileage your getting now. It will ride night and day better in any type of water you want to run it in. It will near double the storage you enjoy now, and a 24 volt trolling motor is way more than efficient in them. Or stick with what ya got and be happy. I'm not trying to stir a pot, just throwing out another option that most would never give another thought, until they were in one.
