Adding a fourth battery to a Pantera

Adding a fourth battery to a Pantera - 01/24/16 12:50 AM

Does anyone have experience doing this? With the dual tanks back there, there isn't much room to navigate. A buddy of mine suggested fabricating something to place the battery over the pumps. Has anyone done this in the past?

Have you thought of using your starting battery for the third TM battery?

I added a 4th battery to my PII by adding an extension over the pumps. Super easy modification and gets you 4 batteries in there without taking up that much space.

Check with BassCat parts department, I think they have the bridge plate available.

My friend has a 2012 p2 and his 4th battery is in the middle over the bildge pumps etc... they mounted a plate and then a battery tray I think and that's where it sits. Looks good. That's where I would put it if it were me

We generally mount the oil reservoir on a plate over the pumps. Less weight to worry about.
