Great Way to Start 2016 at Falcon

Today 1-4-16, was the first day this new year, I could fish while here at Falcon.
Started with these. 5-12 & 6-3
Then. This one at 9-12
And again. A 7-2

Had 5-6 more that ran right at the 5+ pound mark. Plus a few that were on but Kicked my Butt.
5 fish limit was 34 pounds. It was a great way to start the new year.

Thanks everyone. For me it was a catch I'll never forget. The 2 bigger ones, and some of the 5s, came by drag'n a Fluke. The first pair, plus several others, were caught first, on a Dropshot w/ Mag Finesse Worm.
Today wasn't a repeat but I still caught a couple of 5's with lots of small ones.

Nice fish. Haven't been down there for a couple of years but making plans to be there in March.

Headed down tomorrow through Saturday. I guess we'll launch at the state park and just get to fishing.....
