ABA Ram fishing Tour draw tournaments ?

I'm thinking about fishing the Texas East division this year. It looks like it will fit in with my Bass Champs and Flw series stuff I'm fishing. I really don't know anything about the ABA so I'm just fishing for information.
Who else is fishing them?
Any good or bad that I need to know about ABA?
How many boats can I expect to see in this division?

Had a great time and would do it again if I was closer

Looking at the payout, it looks pretty low.
I'm going to contact them and see what the percentage is.
If I figured it right based on 100 entries not including big bass they only paid back $44 per angler and entry fees are $70. That's only like 63% payback.
Hopefully they hold some over for the championship or something.

Thought about fishing some BFL stuff but they are all 3 + hours away.
I seen the Ram Open series that looks to be a lot better payout and fits my schedule as well.

The first one on Rayburn is the same date as the BFL on Toledo. Be interesting to see the turnout. If they would have staggered the Ram a couple of weeks they would have a better turnout. I wouldn't mind fishing some. I need to look at their schedule.

Great pay out. I'm fishing them and bfl. Too bad the first one has to conflict. Amazes me that all of the directors want to start a series on these two big lakes in the winter. I just pray for decent weather!

Different divisions for different folks

He is talking about the Draw Series not the Ram Open Series.

I'm bummed too they start on the same day. I'm gonna fish both but will probably fish the first one with the Ram Open Series.
