Squaw Creek Friday - 12/16/15 10:08 PM

Hey guys, planning on going out to Squaw Creek on Friday. Planning to take my 4 year old and was hoping to get on some tilapia so he can have some good fun. I've never targeted them, only caught them while bass fishing. Just wondering if anyone has a certain area or spots to hit that will produce? And also what's the best bait to use? Thanks guys!

I have a friend of mine they did pretty good on tilapia using night crawlers.

i took a spy bait to Mexico last year, bass liked it, but i think the tilapia liked it even more!

This^^^is good info. Southern(dam end) coves in the backs of the coves. Also a dropshot with an earthworm on it is killer.

anywhere by the outlet area around the buoys.

Caught them a few weeks ago in the coves by the water outlet. Red worms, a gold crappie hook rigged drop shot style. $ ft of water just cast it out and reel it real slow to keep the line tight. With a kid I would use a bobber. A 4 year old will have a blast.
